Finally...

...

...got DSL.

And we did not win the lottery. No cash for you. No cash for me. Thank you, though, for such willingness to bless us with your desire to apportion the funds we would have received. (wink)

Right now Russia will wait another day. Now I will post stuff.

Kelly and I have moved (mostly) into the new apartment. For those who did not know we were moving, we send our deepest regrets. Trust us, it was probably as quick and unexpected for us as it is for you. We were back from Russia less than two weeks when we made the deal to sell the house to a friend (allowing mom to stay there and not have to go through the moving hassles), and then signed an apartment lease. It is good. We're saving cash and it is a new part of the adventure having our own place. We will party hard this Friday with friends and family to thank God for our new place.

Mars has our last gathering in a building in 2 Sundays. We have garage sales this Saturday and next to send all the couches that were used over the last 5 years back out into the world for them to continue on in their God-given mission of bringing families in the Dallas area the comfort they so deserve. Our home gatherings are rockin! More thoughts on that later.

Convergence will happen next month (the weekend before Memorial Day)with Red River and Resonance. And will be a non-linear worship gathering based on the idea of "Memorials" with the ideas (for stations and the like) not coming from "leaders" but from the people involved in the communities that are connecting. I am super eager to see what God does on that night to bring His people closer to his heart.

We are seeking to connect deeper with the Network we are a part of and asking God to show us where we should do so. We are also looking at Simple Church Network to possibly have a local connection with communities that are moving in the same direction God is blowing us in. Both of the men who are helping to head these up have had a great impact in my life and have proven godly resources in my search for God's story for Mars so I am looking forward to a life together with them.

So, here we go a-shepherding.

We love you. Thanks for not giving me the same guff you gave Chris about not posting. Now I can pee in peace.

Welcome back to my bathroom. And, no, I ain't talkin potty humor. This is the real deal.
